Staff Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of key areas within the frontend architecture, influencing decisions regarding scalability, performance, maintainability, and consistent user experience throughout the platform.

• Incorporate AI-assisted development tools (such as Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, ChatGPT, v0, or similar) into your everyday workflow to enhance UI development, prototyping, debugging, testing, and iteration processes.

• Contribute to defining how AI can enhance our product experience and streamline our internal frontend engineering workflows.

• Design and create polished, production-ready interfaces, transforming initial concepts and prototypes into refined customer experiences.

• Write, test, and deploy high-quality frontend code with a strong emphasis on responsiveness, accessibility, performance, and maintainability.

• Develop reusable UI systems, component libraries, and frontend abstractions that facilitate rapid, consistent product development at scale.

• Collaborate closely with design, product, backend, and data teams to create cohesive and customer-centric workflows and experiences.

• Utilize customer feedback, analytics, experimentation, and usage insights to continually enhance product usability and interaction quality.

• Mentor engineers and foster a robust frontend engineering culture focused on craftsmanship, speed, ownership, and modern tooling.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in building and scaling complex modern web applications and frontend systems.

• Profound knowledge in frontend architecture, component systems, state management, performance optimization, and delivering production-quality software.

• Strong expertise in modern AI engineering and design tooling, actively employing AI to speed up development, prototype interfaces, generate ideas, debug problems, and enhance workflow efficiency.

• Excellent design sensibility, showing a strong commitment to UX quality, accessibility, interaction design, responsiveness, and visual precision.

• Systems thinking and experience with frontend platforms; skilled in designing scalable UI architectures while ensuring consistency across extensive products and teams.

• Strong execution mindset capable of swift action while upholding high standards for quality and maintainability.

• A collaborative and low-ego approach, effectively communicating and working across engineering, design, and product teams.

• We prioritize adaptability, product thinking, and engineering judgment over specific experience with any particular framework or library.
