Staff Frontend Engineer

📋 Description

• Take ownership of significant aspects of the frontend architecture, influencing decisions regarding scalability, performance, maintainability, and consistency of user experience across the platform.

• Integrate AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, ChatGPT, v0, or similar) into your daily routine to enhance UI development, prototyping, debugging, testing, and iteration processes.

• Contribute to defining how AI can enhance both our product experience and the internal workflows of frontend engineering.

• Create and implement refined, production-ready interfaces, transforming ideas from initial concepts and prototypes into polished customer experiences.

• Write, test, and deploy high-quality frontend code, emphasizing responsiveness, accessibility, performance, and maintainability.

• Design reusable UI systems, component libraries, and frontend abstractions that facilitate rapid and consistent product development at scale.

• Collaborate closely with design, product, backend, and data teams to provide cohesive workflows and experiences centered around the customer.

• Utilize customer feedback, analytics, experimentation, and usage insights to continually enhance product usability and interaction quality.

• Mentor fellow engineers and help foster a robust frontend engineering culture focused on craftsmanship, speed, ownership, and contemporary tooling.

• Extensive experience in building and scaling complex modern web applications and frontend systems.

• Profound knowledge of frontend architecture, component systems, state management, performance optimization, and delivering production-quality software.

• Strong skills in modern AI engineering and design tools. You actively employ AI to expedite development, prototype interfaces, generate ideas, debug problems, and enhance workflow efficiency.

• Outstanding design sensibility. You are deeply concerned about UX quality, accessibility, interaction design, responsiveness, and visual accuracy.

• Systems thinking and frontend platform experience. You are adept at designing scalable UI architectures and ensuring consistency across large products and teams.

• A strong execution mindset, with the capability to work quickly while upholding high standards for quality and maintainability.

• A collaborative, low-ego approach. You work effectively with engineering, design, and product teams and communicate your ideas clearly.
