Staff Engineer – Azure CloudOps Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Provision and oversee Azure infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/Terraform/ARM).

• Set up and resolve issues related to Azure networking elements (VNets, route tables, Virtual WAN, Application Gateway).

• Establish centralized monitoring, diagnostics, and troubleshooting to guarantee high availability.

• Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and various automation tools.

• Implement and uphold Azure Policies, RBAC, and security best practices across all subscriptions.

• Maintain clear, actionable documentation regarding architecture, processes, and troubleshooting steps.

• Collaborate on initiatives for process enhancement, automation, and the adoption of DevSecOps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong practical experience with Azure cloud services and management tools.

• Demonstrated experience with hub-and-spoke architectures in enterprise settings.

• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform, ARM).

• Comprehensive understanding of cloud architecture principles, including scalability, high availability, and security.

• Experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or equivalent platforms.

• Knowledge of networking, security layers, and communication protocols.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe) and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence).
