• Convert business needs into robust, scalable architectural patterns, incorporating best practices in data modeling, orchestration, data governance, and observability.
• Produce high-quality, maintainable code and set patterns that elevate engineering standards.
• Engage in code reviews and guide other engineers in software craftsmanship.
• Assist in integrating traditional machine learning workloads with contemporary AI-based decision systems.
• Collaborate across Product, AI, and Software Engineering teams to promote platform adoption.
• Over 8 years of experience in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Software Engineering roles.
• Proven expertise in building and scaling distributed systems and data platforms.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, or related technologies.
• Strong understanding of streaming architectures, real-time data processing, and event-driven systems.
• Solid foundation in software engineering principles: design patterns, testing, CI/CD, versioning, and clean code.
• Proficient in modern programming languages such as Scala, Java, or Python.
• Expertise in SQL, data modeling, and performance optimization for both analytical and transactional workloads.
