This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage in product discovery to gain insights into stakeholder needs, customer usage, and product scope.
• Decompose projects into manageable tasks to facilitate efficient development.
• Independently create and refine features, solutions, and services based on preliminary definitions.
• Lead the team in addressing complex incidents, conducting root cause analyses, and implementing improvements.
• Mentor and assist team members with technical challenges, fostering their growth and development.
• Enhance solution quality through code reviews, automated testing, and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Act as a team representative, offering integration support, education, and risk mitigation for stakeholders.
• Establish critical metrics to identify software issues, suggest solutions, and drive resolutions.
• Cultivate an inclusive environment that encourages diverse perspectives and open technical discussions.
• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a relevant field; an advanced degree may be considered in lieu of professional experience.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Specialized knowledge in a sub-function and familiarity with related functions.
• Awareness of the industry and understanding of how individual contributions align with organizational objectives.
• Strong command of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented software design, functional programming, and cloud-based distributed systems.
• Experience in developing and implementing various types of tests to ensure high software quality.
• Proven track record in leading initiatives, demonstrating your ability to take ownership and advance projects.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Go, Python, etc., allowing you to effectively contribute to our tech stack.
• Skilled in debugging complex systems or applications, with a sharp eye for identifying and resolving issues.
• Familiarity with mobile computing, databases, database design, cloud infrastructure, HTTP, and web protocols is advantageous, as it will enhance your contributions to our team.
• Willingness to provide after-hours support to tackle critical customer issues and ensure a seamless customer experience.
