Junior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• You will design data models focused on non-distributed information systems.

• You will create scalable and reusable data extraction processes from various sources into the data ecosystem.

• You will establish metrics to assess the performance of the analytics platform.

• You will develop measurement models aimed at ensuring data quality.

• You will implement continuous improvements in the infrastructure supporting the analytics platform.

• You will carry out classification and investigation of issues related to BI and Analytics areas.

• You will take on additional responsibilities assigned by your immediate supervisor that are in line with the role's nature.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience with SQL and Python.

• Experience in extracting structured and semi-structured information.

• Project tracking using agile methodologies.

• Management of data catalogs.

• Knowledge in data governance and data lineage.

• Intermediate knowledge of PySpark, Databricks, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.

• Preferred knowledge of Tableau, FastAPI, and Artificial Intelligence tools for development.
