This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and manage the foundational platform for regulated reporting and reliable AI workflows.
• Make informed architectural decisions and construct, enhance, or reconstruct data pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with Analytics, Engineering, and external vendors to transform disjointed source systems into reliable data products.
• Ensure that our data infrastructure integrates securely and consistently with essential operational systems.
• Oversee requirements gathering, source profiling, ingestion design, quality assurance, documentation, and support for data integrations.
• Manage dependencies, retries, alerts, incident responses, and monitoring for ensuring pipeline reliability.
• Assist in phasing out fragile reporting paths and oversee Snowflake governance, data contracts, and data observability.
• Profound data engineering acumen.
• Practical experience.
• Strong fundamentals in data ingestion.
• Proficiency in Snowflake.
• Commitment to data quality.
• Strong sense of ownership and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions.
