Data Engineer, SQL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Develop, modify, and manage datasets to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and accessibility for analytics and business decision-making.

• Uphold a high-standard data infrastructure that facilitates reporting, analytics, and operational insights, which includes pipeline ingestion, transformation and modeling, as well as Level 1 support for pipeline failures, monitoring, and data quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in SQL

• Experience with Python for building data pipelines and automation

• Familiarity with Snowflake

• Knowledge of dbt

• Experience with Fivetran

• Understanding of Kafka

• Expertise in data modeling

• Skilled in ETL/ELT pipeline development

• Knowledge of data quality and governance principles

• Competence in monitoring and optimizing performance
