This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and sustain intricate, enterprise-level data pipelines and foundational datasets while establishing the technical strategy and architectural vision for advertising products.
• Design and construct advanced ETL processes, data models, and analytical frameworks utilizing SQL, Python, and contemporary data stack technologies.
• Create and uphold the data infrastructure that fuels Ads ML - including feature pipelines, label generation workflows, and training data systems that support our ranking and delivery models.
• Establish data quality frameworks, monitoring systems, automated anomaly detection, and alerting infrastructures that function effectively at scale.
• Work collaboratively with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to pinpoint high-impact opportunities in data infrastructure, taking ownership from design through execution.
• Lead cross-functional technical projects to address complex data engineering challenges.
• Develop scalable guidelines that assist in leading and mentoring engineers through projects that enhance launch velocity and strengthen data systems.
• Navigate uncertainty and make informed technical decisions with incomplete information, balancing immediate delivery needs with long-term infrastructure investments.
• Over 7 years of hands-on experience in writing production code and designing data pipelines with high-volume consumer data within advertising technology sectors (e.g., ad delivery, ranking, targeting, identity).
• More than 7 years of direct implementation experience in designing, coding, and maintaining intricate data models and systems that manage structured and unstructured data sources.
• Exceptional coding skills in SQL, Python, and modern data engineering frameworks, with a proven capacity to create performant, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Expertise in digital advertising data engineering, with practical experience in constructing high-throughput data pipelines for ad serving, conversion tracking, advertising measurement, or integrating and normalizing third-party advertising data from external platforms and partners.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in implementing and troubleshooting data quality audits, monitoring systems, and automated remediation for extensive datasets (billions+ rows).
• Strong technical communication skills to articulate complex implementations to stakeholders while thriving in rapidly changing technical environments.
• A passion for tackling complex problems through direct technical contributions and a desire to collaborate with exceptional engineers on challenging data infrastructure initiatives.
• Practical collaboration experience in implementing solutions with data science, ML engineering, and product teams through direct technical input.
