Staff Content Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish the product voice, terminology, and reusable content frameworks for Bolt.

• Integrate content standards into the design system, components, and internal tooling.

• Evaluate company-wide writing and offer feedback that enhances judgment.

• Lead the content strategy and influence product direction starting from problem identification.

• Deliver content-driven features from conception to completion, including onboarding and in-product training.

• Define, design, and manage features through implementation as the design DRI using Figma or agentic tools.

• Collaborate throughout the product lifecycle with Marketing and Customer Experience teams.

• Ensure that messaging before, during, and after product support aligns seamlessly.

⛳️ Requirements

• A portfolio showcasing product content work with at least two examples that illustrate the problem, reasoning, rejected options, and changes made post-launch.

• Capability to take a content-driven feature from problem identification to delivery without assistance from a product designer.

• Proficiency in designing with Figma or utilizing agentic tools to produce a market-ready standard.

• Experience in developing a standard, system, or guidelines that have been adopted by others.

• Skill in providing constructive feedback to colleagues outside of design and to peers.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Experience in a startup or small team environment (bonus).

• Background in shaping AI tools or creating content for conversational-interface products (bonus).

• Experience in writing product, marketing, and support content or transitioning knowledge across these areas (bonus).

• Familiarity with consumer products (bonus).

• A college degree is not mandatory.

• No requirement to be based in the U.S.

• It is not necessary to meet every listed qualification.
