This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of delivering platform solutions across various teams and systems, ensuring alignment of technical direction with business objectives and customer impact.
• Spearhead the standardization of cloud platform patterns and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), implementing reviews, reusable modules, and testing to enhance consistency and minimize operational risks.
• Lead the implementation and integration of CI/CD processes across multiple teams to elevate delivery quality and speed, facilitating quicker and more reliable delivery of value to customers.
• Design scalable, multi-region architectures and resilient global networking patterns that enhance availability, recoverability, and performance for end users.
• Integrate security and compliance by design throughout infrastructure and delivery tools, promoting secure baselines, hardening, and risk-based controls that safeguard customer data.
• Drive the telemetry and observability strategy, establishing meaningful SLOs and actionable alerts to enhance reliability, expedite troubleshooting, and improve overall customer experience.
• Influence cost planning and establish guardrails through tagging, monitoring, and automation to support efficient operations and sustainable customer outcomes.
• Mentor and coach engineers, providing technical leadership, raising engineering standards, and effectively helping teams scale platform practices.
• Communicate effectively with engineering teams and stakeholders, influencing decisions and resolving cross-team conflicts to achieve shared goals.
• Over 7 years of experience in software and/or infrastructure engineering roles.
• More than 5 years in Cloud/DevOps or platform-oriented engineering.
• Proficient in Azure or AWS.
• Proven ability to guide engineers technically and manage delivery across teams in uncertain environments.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code and scripting/automation.
• In-depth knowledge of secure CI/CD platforms and delivery tools.
• Demonstrated experience in leading high availability/disaster recovery designs, hybrid networking, and secure cloud baselines across teams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems.
