AI Engineer – .NET, Azure AI

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or similar software engineering positions.

• Educational background in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.

• Robust professional experience with .NET/C# (.NET Core, .NET 6/8), including the creation of orchestration and backend APIs.

• Practical experience with Azure OpenAI / OpenAI / ChatGPT-class models (GPT-40-level), as well as generative AI for tasks such as summarization, extraction, filtering, and speech-to-text/transcription pipelines (e.g., Whisper.NET, Azure Cognitive Services/Speech); and methodologies like RAG and AI search.

• Exceptional skill in utilizing Agentic AI tools such as Cursor IDE and GitHub Copilot to enhance code development, refactoring, and intricate debugging.

• Strong grasp of Transformer-based model architectures and foundational Machine Learning concepts.

• Experience in deploying or integrating AI models into production settings (APIs, pipelines, or backend systems).

• Analytical thinker with a keen problem-solving ability.

• Proven experience working alongside engineering and product development teams.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

• Must be willing and legally eligible to reside and work in Portugal.
