Staff Architect / Tech Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Define and take ownership of the architecture for a new AI/Data product workstream.

• Design scalable backend services, data flows, and integration patterns.

• Provide technical leadership to guide implementation and support engineers.

• Review code, architectural decisions, and uphold engineering standards.

• Collaborate with product stakeholders to convert requirements into technical solutions.

• Design and enhance components, pipelines, and services for the data platform.

• Contribute to capabilities for AI-enabled products and workflows based on agents.

• Promote engineering quality, documentation, testing standards, and maintainability.

• Engage in the hands-on implementation of complex technical initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of software engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years in roles such as Staff Engineer, Staff Architect, Principal Engineer, or Technical Lead.

• Proficient in Python, preferably with FastAPI or similar backend frameworks.

• Strong background in system design and software architecture.

• Experience in building data platforms, ETL pipelines, or large-scale data systems.

• Familiarity with Databricks and contemporary data engineering practices.

• Experience with cloud-native architectures (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker).

• Understanding of AI/LLM-enabled products and agent-based systems.

• At least Upper-Intermediate (B2+) proficiency in English or higher.
