This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership to product stakeholders, leveraging data-driven insights to influence roadmap decisions.
• Take ownership of the experimentation strategy for your product team, encompassing test design, success metrics, sample-size estimation, guardrails, and results analysis.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to establish tracking requirements and ensure data integrity; spearhead analytics instrumentation.
• Create user-friendly dashboards in Looker that promote data accessibility and enhance self-service capabilities.
• Develop and uphold KPI frameworks and measurement plans for new features and initiatives.
• Advocate for data quality, documentation, and consistent deliverables while mentoring junior analysts.
• Utilize advanced statistical modeling, quasi-experimental methods, and predictive modeling to identify causal relationships.
• Classify users based on demographic, behavioral, and psychographic factors to customize product experiences and lifecycle communications.
• Perform in-depth analyses to address strategic business inquiries, quantify opportunities, and suggest actionable recommendations.
• Over 8 years of experience in analytics, data science, or a comparable quantitative discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related area.
• More than 5 years of experience designing, executing, and analyzing A/B tests within a product context.
• Familiarity with subscription-based business models and associated metrics.
• Substantial experience collaborating with data engineering teams and managing production data pipelines.
• Proficiency in data modeling and statistics; solid understanding of experimental design and statistical inference.
• Advanced SQL proficiency.
• Extensive experience with data visualization and BI tools such as Looker or Tableau.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, SAS, or R.
• Development and training of predictive models.
• Capability to convey technical analyses to non-technical audiences, including peers and executives.
• Experience in shaping and influencing product strategy beyond mere execution of analyses.
• A strong work ethic and proactive approach; ability to deeply understand issues and take ownership of resolutions.
