This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as a crucial data thought partner to leadership, providing actionable insights and recommendations that enable integrated, data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
• Advocate for daily analytics while designing scalable reporting platforms to improve the effectiveness of our payments ecosystem.
• Identify obstacles in the user journey to enhance experiences for our global Guest, Host, and agent communities through thorough problem-solving.
• Address complex domain challenges utilizing advanced quantitative measurement, machine learning models, AI, and experimentation to offer new perspectives on existing solutions.
• Create advanced analytical frameworks and statistical models to establish causal relationships and promote measurable business impact.
• Connect the gap between technical intricacy and strategic influence by converting experimental findings into compelling narratives for executive stakeholders.
• Shape the eTeam-level roadmap by identifying key metrics in unstructured areas and delivering data-driven strategy recommendations.
• At least 10+ years of industry experience in business analytics along with a degree (Masters or PhD preferred) in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Operations Research).
• Demonstrated experience in Payments organizations, showcasing deep technical expertise across payment domain areas such as payment processing, risk management, and compliance.
• Proficient in SQL and highly skilled in at least one programming language for data analysis (Python or R).
• Excellent storytelling capabilities. Able to drive engagement.
• Familiarity with AI tools to streamline workflows and uncover new opportunities.
• Experience with non-experimental causal inference methods, experimentation, and machine learning techniques, ideally within a multi-sided platform context.
• Practical knowledge of schema design and high-dimensional data modeling (ETL frameworks like Airflow).
