This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assume primary responsibility for a Ruby on Rails web platform.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the platform’s architecture, data, integrations, and performance in production.
• Deliver enhancements, bug fixes, dependency updates, tests, and releases.
• Recognize and prioritize enhancements related to SEO, performance, usability, and reliability.
• Transform customer and business requirements into actionable product modifications.
• Contribute to Solv products that utilize Python and React.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to comprehend code, implement modifications, troubleshoot issues, and confirm functionality.
• Make increasingly autonomous product and technical decisions.
• 2–4 years of experience in building and maintaining production web applications.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, or substantial exposure to Rails with a quick learning ability.
• Comfortable reading and contributing to Python and React codebases.
• Capability to work across frontend, backend, and relational databases like Postgres.
• Strong product judgment and the ability to make progress with undefined requirements.
• Passion for enhancing existing products, in addition to developing new ones.
• Diligently review, test, and validate work, including AI-assisted contributions.
• Willingness to broaden responsibilities, assume greater ownership, and learn through experience.
• Proactive, clear communicator, and committed to seeing work through to production.
• Experience in technical SEO, structured data, or web performance is a plus.
• Previous ownership of a product or codebase is advantageous.
• Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and dependency upgrades is beneficial.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS or healthcare technology is a plus.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
