• Oversee customer-facing services and address Severity 0 (Sev0) and Severity 1 (Sev1) incidents, facilitating technical reviews and aiding in Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) transferred to the Global Solutions team.
• Automate the identification and resolution of recurring production challenges to minimize engineering and operations workload.
• Participate in compliance, resiliency, and self-healing projects, including destructive testing and game day simulations.
• Collaborate with and mentor team members to remain updated on industry technologies and foster team growth.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience in enterprise-scale internet service engineering or support, with strong Command Line Interface (CLI) proficiency in Unix variants, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• In-depth knowledge of Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) networking technologies and protocols.
• Established experience in incident management and a comprehensive understanding of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service operations within a 24/7 environment.
• Skilled in scripting with Python, Go, or similar languages, along with experience in provisioning and managing Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.
