📋 Description

• Establish, disseminate, and uphold enterprise-wide SRE best practices and operational standards.

• Develop and spearhead WEX’s AI-Powered Reliability Engineering strategy.

• Design and supervise the execution of mission-critical systems.

• Create and manage SLO, SLI, and error budget frameworks across lines of business.

• Oversee the production readiness review process.

• Act as the main technical consultant to engineering leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in SRE, platform engineering, or distributed systems.

• Extensive practical knowledge in observability, incident management, resilience engineering, and capacity planning.

• Proficient in high-availability and low-latency systems.

• Proven experience utilizing AI tools to address genuine reliability challenges.

• Established capability to define and uphold technical standards across various engineering teams.

• Experience in designing self-healing and auto-recovery solutions in production distributed systems.

• Strong expertise in cloud cost optimization and tools for managing cloud expenditures at scale.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
