DevOps Engineer – Platform, AWS, CI/CD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and sustain CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and GitHub Enterprise.

• Develop and oversee Infrastructure as Code (IaC) employing AWS-native tools and automation frameworks.

• Create and enhance cloud-native deployment pipelines on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS).

• Develop and manage containerized applications utilizing Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.

• Execute automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, and Python.

• Promote best practices for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment (CI/CD).

• Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to enhance system reliability, scalability, and performance optimization.

• Oversee multi-tenant distributed systems and microservices architectures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, Cloud architecture, and Software development.

• Strong practical experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions.

• Proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly AWS.

• Experience in containerization technologies: Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git.

• Strong programming and scripting skills in C# / .NET, JavaScript / TypeScript, Python, Bash / Shell scripting, and PowerShell.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with a preference for CloudFormation or Terraform.

• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic and Sentry.
