This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Develop technical hardware sets and specifications tailored for the architectural sector, ensuring compliance with codes for both new construction projects and aftermarket requests.
• Offer guidance to architects regarding product application needs.
• Engage in pre and post-installation discussions as required.
• Support revisions, coordinate access control, and address requests for information throughout all phases of the project.
• Relay key project information to the Project Manager to aid in devising a project strategy for the sales team.
• Inform team members about project modifications that could affect specifications and sales strategies, maintaining effective two-way communication with the Project Manager and Sales Team.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of electro-mechanical products and solutions, encompassing access control and software.
• Relay requirements and/or conflicts related to door hardware coordination, including access control, electrical specifications, and specialty doors.
• Collaborate with the Architectural Services Team to ensure a favorable customer experience and fulfill project commitments.
• Keep abreast of industry and competitor product knowledge by analyzing market data on competitive activities.
• Adjust to evolving market conditions.
• Employ CRM and Specification Writing software along with collaboration tools.
• Stay informed about all Allegion policies, guidelines, and procedures, ensuring adherence.
• A High School Diploma is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 3-10 years of industry experience is preferred.
• CDT Credential is preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical and electronic solutions, covering options from mechanical access/egress control to comprehensive facility management is preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of electricity and electronic components.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proven experience in influencing others with a proactive approach.
• Strong customer orientation.
• Ongoing education towards achieving the AHC credential through DHI is encouraged.
• DHT certification is preferred.
• Candidates must reside in Florida to effectively support the team and market.
