This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.
• Develop pre-call plans utilizing SMART objectives and conduct post-call assessments.
• Address objections and consistently secure calls to action to finalize sales conversations.
• Address customer needs and cultivate trustworthy relationships with clients.
• Create and execute call plans to meet metrics and enhance customer coverage and frequency.
• Gain insights into customer requirements, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical data, and sales information.
• Relay market intelligence to in-field, brand, and sales teams.
• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with designated health providers.
• Identify, nurture, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
• Collaborate with specialty physicians, pharmacists, nurses, in-field team members, sales management, marketing, training, customer excellence, and brand-plan stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience required.
• A minimum of five years of relevant industry experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, including three or more years preferred within the pharmaceutical, health, or science sectors.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Proven history of success in sales.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to recognize customer styles and behaviors and adjust sales approaches accordingly.
• Capability to devise innovative solutions and maximize business opportunities.
• Experience in leadership and support at district, regional, or organizational levels.
• Preferred experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care, or marketing.
• Proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain credentials.
• Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.
• Strong business acumen and proficiency with business tools.
• Strategic and critical thinking abilities.
• Capability to function effectively in a matrix environment.
• Ability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and comply with safe driving standards.
