This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Implement AbbVie brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Oversee the assigned territory and targeted accounts.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships and address their needs.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.
• Develop pre-call plans utilizing SMART objectives and perform post-call evaluations.
• Manage objections and secure calls to action to successfully conclude sales calls.
• Address customer needs and foster trusted relationships.
• Design and implement call plans to enhance coverage and frequency for key clients.
• Acquire knowledge of customer requirements, territory landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales proficiency.
• Share market insights with in-field, brand, and sales management teams.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, nurture, and sustain disease-state experts and advocates/speakers.
• Collaborate with specialty physicians, pharmacists, nurses, in-field teams, sales management, marketing, training, customer excellence, and brand-plan stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience is required.
• Alternatively, at least five years of experience, including three or more years in the pharmaceutical, health, or science industry preferred, along with a high school diploma/GED is required.
• Demonstrated history of sales achievement.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to tailor the selling approach to the customer’s style and behavior.
• Capacity to create innovative solutions and business opportunities.
• Ability to influence others and act as a credible role model and resource.
• Skills in collaborative partnerships within district and matrix teams.
• Documented leadership and support achievements at district, regional, or organizational levels.
• Ability to devise sales strategies based on findings.
• Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical commercial industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.
• Proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain credentials.
• Comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.
• Strong business acumen and proficiency with business tools.
• Strategic and critical thinking skills.
• Capability to function effectively in a matrix environment.
• Ability to drive a personal vehicle, company car/truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must comply with safe driving requirements.
