This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Implement the brand strategy and tactics in the field, ensuring effective management of the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives in order to meet or surpass these targets.
• Develop pre-call plan objectives and carry out post-call evaluations to enhance sales performance continuously.
• Skillfully address objections, misunderstandings, and concerns, consistently leading to logical and reasonable calls to action that facilitate closing on every sales interaction.
• Actively and consistently work to meet customer needs, expectations, and challenges, fostering trusted relationships with customers to reach mutually beneficial agreements between AbbVie and clients.
• Design and implement a call plan that meets established call metrics while optimizing coverage and frequency with key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities.
• Continually enhance understanding of customer requirements and expectations, territory market landscape, competitors, market segments, dynamics, accounts, disease states, product knowledge, and clinical and sales expertise, sharing this market intelligence with the in-field team, brand team, and sales manager to ensure alignment and proactively address environmental changes and challenges, thereby optimizing brand strategy and execution.
• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with assigned healthcare providers and identify, cultivate, and maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates to enhance brand performance.
• A bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
• Relevant and equivalent industry experience is necessary in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, which includes at least five (5) years of experience, with three (3) or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred, alongside a high school diploma/GED.
• Demonstrated history of leadership success and strong presentation skills.
• Solid business acumen and proficient use of business tools; possesses strategic and critical thinking abilities.
• Proactively identifies customer styles and behaviors, adapting all aspects of the selling approach swiftly.
• Functions effectively within a matrix environment.
• Preferred: Proven track record of success in sales performance within relevant therapeutic areas.
• Preferred: Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing is desirable.
• Preferred: In-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge, recognized as an expert resource by all relevant stakeholders.
• Preferred: Proficiency in the English language, both verbally and in writing (for all non-English speaking countries).
