This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.
• Implement AbbVie brand strategies and tactics in the field for immunology products.
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts to enhance both short- and long-term sales performance.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.
• Develop pre-call plans utilizing SMART objectives and carry out post-call assessments.
• Address objections and concerns while securing calls to action during sales discussions.
• Attend to customer needs and foster trustworthy relationships with clients.
• Formulate and execute call plans to maximize customer coverage, frequency, accessibility, and sales opportunities.
• Track customer requirements, territory market dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease states, products, clinical data, and sales performance.
• Communicate market intelligence with in-field, brand, and sales management teams.
• Distinguish AbbVie's value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, in-field team members, sales management, marketing, training, customer excellence, and brand stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience required.
• In absence of a bachelor's degree: a minimum of five years of experience, including at least three years in the pharmaceutical, health, or science sector preferred, along with a high school diploma/GED required.
• Established track record of success in sales.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Capability to recognize customer styles and behaviors and modify the selling approach accordingly.
• Ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions to optimize business opportunities.
• Capacity to influence others and serve as a credible peer resource.
• Proficient in building collaborative partnerships with district colleagues and matrix teams.
• Documented leadership and support success at district, regional, or organizational levels.
• Aptitude for interpreting findings to formulate sales strategies.
• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry preferred, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Must meet applicable healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain credentials.
• Demonstrated comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.
• Strong business acumen and proficiency with business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to function effectively in a matrix environment.
• Capacity to operate a personal vehicle or company car/truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must comply with safe-driving requirements.
