
Specialty Pharmacy Sales Representative – Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Create and implement strategic business plans for the territory to meet sales objectives for oncology specialty pharmacy products.
• Establish and nurture relationships with oncologists, hematologists, nurse navigators, practice administrators, and other essential decision-makers.
• Provide education to healthcare providers regarding product efficacy, safety profiles, clinical data, and criteria for patient selection.
• Work in collaboration with specialty pharmacies, hub services, and reimbursement teams to facilitate patient access and therapy initiation.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and Marketing on account strategies and messaging.
• Remain updated on the oncology treatment landscape, competitive products, clinical guidelines, and payer policies.
• Analyze data and market trends within the territory to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Keep precise records of sales activities, customer interactions, and territory performance utilizing CRM tools.
• Ensure that promotional activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and healthcare laws.
• Represent the company at medical conferences, tumor boards, and regional/national sales meetings.
• A Bachelor's degree is required; a background in scientific, business, or healthcare-related fields is preferred.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or specialty sales is required.
• A strong preference for candidates with experience in oncology or specialty pharmacy.
• A proven history of achieving or surpassing sales quotas in a competitive marketplace.
• A solid understanding of buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy distribution models, and reimbursement/access pathways.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Capability to interpret and convey clinical data effectively to healthcare professionals.
• Self-motivated with robust organizational and time-management skills; able to work independently.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory, which may include overnight travel.
• Experience engaging with oncology/hematology practices, infusion centers, or academic medical centers is preferred.
• Existing relationships within the oncology community are preferred.
• Familiarity with oral oncolytics, injectables, or biologics is preferred.
• Experience with hub services and patient support programs is preferred.
• High organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
