Special Projects Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage a team of 5-10 direct reports, offering essential training, coaching, and guidance for their daily responsibilities.

• Identify, create, and sustain internal projects to engage during periods of low project activity.

• Regularly assess progress and quality of ongoing projects, ensuring the team stays aligned to meet deadlines.

• Educate and supervise staff to enhance performance and guarantee adherence to established protocols.

• Organize daily tasks and special project assignments by distributing new manual intake tickets and managing simultaneous project demands from various case teams.

• Develop and sustain Excel trackers, dashboards, and reporting tools to oversee team productivity, case volume, and project progress across multiple case teams.

• Examine case and project data utilizing Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, conditional formatting, and formula-driven reporting) to uncover trends, obstacles, and staffing requirements.

• Work collaboratively with department management and other business leaders to proactively pinpoint opportunities for enhancing employee experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in supervisory or people management roles is required.

• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and hold accountable a team of 5 or more employees.

• Capacity to maintain a high degree of accountability in a dynamic, high-volume environment.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the capability to leverage data for team decision-making.

• Proficient in multi-tasking and prioritizing competing deadlines.

• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel is mandatory, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP or INDEX-MATCH, conditional formatting, data validation, and the creation of reporting dashboards.

• A college degree is required.
