This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
β’ Execute copy-editing tasks for designated projects or accounts.
β’ Carry out translation tasks as needed.
β’ Offer lead support for assigned projects or accounts.
β’ Oversee and maintain language assets, including glossaries, style guides, and work instructions.
β’ Handle project-related inquiries.
β’ Address terminology and language questions among team members.
β’ Develop and train both internal linguists and external partners.
β’ Engage with clients on linguistic issues as required.
β’ Contribute to the development of enhanced working processes.
β’ Meet or surpass KPIs for productivity, timely delivery, and quality.
β’ Accomplish objectives set by the team manager.
β’ A bachelor's degree in Translation, Applied Languages, Linguistics, or a related field; alternatively, a bachelor's degree in another discipline plus a minimum of 2 years of full-time translation experience, or 5 years of full-time professional translation experience in lieu of a degree.
β’ Native fluency in Latin American Spanish.
β’ Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
β’ Over 4 years of experience in translation, localization, editing, or content writing.
β’ At least 2 years of review experience.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of localization processes.
β’ Familiarity with Windows and Office applications.
β’ Working proficiency with CAT tools such as XTM and Trados Studio.
β’ Experience with issue tracking/query management platforms like Jira.
β’ Quick adaptability to new localization tools and applications.
β’ Knowledge of terminology in two or more subject areas.
β’ Capability to work under tight deadlines.
β’ Skill in providing clear, concise, and constructive feedback.
β’ Ability to present information and address inquiries from managers, clients, customers, and linguists.
β’ Proficiency in resolving practical problems with limited standardization.
β’ Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions.
β’ Enthusiasm and motivation to train, mentor, and share knowledge.
β’ Experience and willingness to communicate positively with customers at various levels.
