Spanish (Latin America) Quality Control Lead – Project Lyra

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a team of around 10 Quality Control Reviewers, ensuring that quality standards are consistently upheld within the Spanish (Latin America) region.

• Evaluate reviewer feedback, carry out quality audits, and ensure compliance with project guidelines.

• Serve as the main quality contact for the Spanish (Latin America) region, addressing quality-related inquiries and escalating complex issues as necessary.

• Facilitate calibration sessions and offer structured coaching to enhance reviewer performance.

• Monitor quality trends, identify potential risks, and proactively address any performance gaps.

• Assist in the onboarding and training of new Quality Control Reviewers.

• Collaborate with global Quality Teams to refine processes, documentation, and quality consistency across AI training tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency (CEFR C2 or equivalent) in Spanish (Latin America).

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in AI training, data annotation, linguistic quality, localization QA, or a similar quality assurance position.

• At least 1 year of experience in leading or managing reviewers, annotators, or quality teams.

• A solid understanding of linguistic quality, encompassing grammar, fluency, tone, register, and cultural nuances.

• Experience in providing structured, evidence-based feedback and coaching to enhance quality.

• Exceptional analytical skills, capable of assessing complex tasks that may not have a single correct solution.

• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities within a dynamic remote environment.

• Preferred: A degree in Linguistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or another analytical discipline.

• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF), AI data annotation, prompt evaluation, or Natural Language Processing (NLP) projects.

• Familiarity with annotation platforms and quality management processes for AI datasets.
