This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the annual budget, strategic planning, and multi-year business planning for Southern Europe across 8 countries.
• Assist in the monthly forecasting and reforecasting cycles, pinpointing risks, opportunities, and corrective measures.
• Provide financial reporting, management dashboards, and variance analyses to facilitate executive decision-making.
• Generate insights into financial and operational drivers, trends, and performance metrics.
• Ensure financial strategies are in alignment with regional and corporate strategic goals.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, CFO, and leadership team of Southern Europe.
• Aid in the growth strategy of the Market Unit.
• Offer financial analysis and suggestions regarding capital allocation, pricing strategies, productivity initiatives, investments, and transformation programs.
• Coordinate monthly and quarterly performance assessments throughout the Market Unit.
• Track performance against budget, forecast, and strategic objectives.
• Identify performance deficiencies and assist in action plans to enhance revenue growth, profitability, cash generation, and return on investment.
• Act as the main FP&A liaison among Country Finance Directors, Southern Europe leadership, and Global FP&A.
• Lead finance reviews, performance discussions, and planning workshops with senior stakeholders.
• Foster cross-functional partnerships with Operations, Commercial, HR, Transformation, and Procurement teams.
• Prepare and present financial reports to the CEO, CFO, and senior leadership team of Southern Europe.
• Convert complex financial data into actionable business insights.
• Spearhead the identification, quantification, and monitoring of regional risks and opportunities.
• Support risk mitigation plans with Country Finance Directors and operational leaders.
• Oversee regional cash generation and working capital performance.
• Assist in liquidity planning and balance sheet management.
• Contribute to finance and operational transformation initiatives, including automation, simplification, and reporting improvements.
• Advocate for best practices, data integrity, automation, and analytical skills across countries.
• Ensure compliance with finance policies, internal controls, and regulatory standards.
• Assist in both internal and external audit procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Over 7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, Controlling, Corporate Finance, or Finance Business Partnering within an international and matrix organization.
• Preferred experience in complex operational or multi-site environments.
• Background in international or matrix organizations is a plus.
• Strong comprehension of financial planning, performance management, and business partnering.
• Extensive expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP, EPM, and Business Intelligence tools, including Oracle, Hyperion, and Power BI.
• High-level skills in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with financial reporting systems and dashboards.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards, financial controls, and corporate governance principles.
• Effective stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
• Strong business partnering and communication skills.
• Exceptional project and change management capabilities.
• Hands-on, results-driven, proactive, and highly collaborative.
• Capacity to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic international setting.
• Proficient in English.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally approximately 25% of the time.
