This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
• Deliver business value and technical sales assistance for designated VoIP/telephony prospects.
• Work alongside Sales to effectively communicate Clio Cloud's communication features and integrate with App Ecosystem partners.
• Gain insights into the competitive environment, unique selling points, migration services, and industry best practices.
• Take charge of technical deal strategies, encompassing VoIP scoping, complexities of number porting, network readiness, hardware specifications, and routing for multi-office or high-volume scenarios.
• Collaborate with Sales to generate business value, instill urgency, and help achieve revenue objectives.
• Equip Sales to conduct focused, business-value-oriented VoIP/telephony demonstrations and meetings.
• Assist prospects and clients in planning VoIP migrations, including porting timelines, cutover sequencing, carrier considerations, and hardware provisioning.
• Act as a resource on telecom regulations and compliance matters pertinent to presales discussions, guiding customers to Legal/Compliance for definitive responses.
• Stay updated on industry developments, AI tools, technology products, platforms, partners, and the competitive landscape within UCaaS/VoIP.
• Work in tandem with Product, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to gather, document, communicate, and influence the product roadmap based on market and customer needs.
• Assist throughout the entire sales cycle, from technical scoping and solution architecture to transition to Customer Success.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer (or similar relevant experience) within a SaaS organization.
• Proficient understanding of VoIP/telephony principles, such as SIP, codecs, call routing, number porting, bandwidth, latency, and jitter.
• Demonstrated success as a creative problem solver.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to convert telephony/network concepts into clear business value.
• Proficiency in delivering technical sales presentations, product positioning, and handling objections.
• Competence in addressing inquiries regarding call quality, network readiness, hardware compatibility, and migration risks.
• Ability to foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including IT/technical contacts.
• Solid technical background and comprehension of cloud technologies, including APIs and security frameworks.
• Direct experience with VoIP, UCaaS, or telephony platforms is an advantage.
• Practical experience with number porting, SIP trunking, or desk phone/hardware provisioning is an asset.
• Knowledge of E911, STIR/SHAKEN, or 10DLC registration is a plus.
• Familiarity with CCaaS/contact center concepts is beneficial.
• Understanding of open-source telephony platforms or softswitch/PBX architectures is advantageous.
