This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.
• Take charge of the technical sales process from initial meetings (new sales) to post-sales activities (customer satisfaction, upselling, and subscription renewals).
• Assist customers with their technical requirements by identifying new use cases for Cloudera’s technology.
• Create tailored solutions for your customers’ needs utilizing Cloudera technologies, guided by reference architectures and prevalent patterns.
• Showcase Cloudera products in a manner that motivates your customers to choose Cloudera.
• Collaborate with your Account Managers to demonstrate the true value of a Cloudera solution and facilitate successful sales.
• Present the product roadmap and vision to encourage your customers to broaden their perspectives.
• Work with other Cloudera teams to ensure a unified Cloudera message reaches your customers.
• Represent your customers’ interests to Product Management and Engineering.
• Engage in external promotion and advocacy (conferences, meetups, webinars, blogs).
• A strong enthusiasm for leveraging technology to impact individuals and organizations positively.
• At least 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a pre-sales environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Valid Security Clearance (Level 2 or higher).
• Proficient in creating and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations.
• Familiarity with some of the following technologies: Big Data, Data Warehousing, or Relational Databases.
• Experience with one or more of the three leading cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge in Data Engineering, Machine Learning, AI Operations, Security, and Data Governance within enterprises.
• Proficient in Unix or Linux systems.
• Experience in gathering and comprehending customer business requirements.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• A desire to learn, a curiosity to explore, and a commitment to ensuring customer success.
