Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical strategy for designated accounts, serving as a reliable technical consultant throughout intricate customer interactions.

• Conduct valuable customer engagements such as value stream workshops and discussions on business value to ensure technical solutions align with customer objectives.

• Create and implement technical strategies for large-scale, multi-team transformation projects involving GitLab.

• Lead competitive analysis and technical positioning for intricate opportunities within the Paris area.

• Work collaboratively with sales, product, and cross-functional teams to tackle integration challenges, enhance account plans, and advocate for customer needs.

• Develop customer success plans that facilitate adoption, growth, and sustainable technical results.

• Provide mentorship to Solutions Architect team members and enhance team learning through shared practices, coaching, and knowledge sharing.

• Enhance GitLab documentation, demonstrations, and technical discussions with customers based on product expertise, customer insights, and market developments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in resolving technical customer challenges with a wide scope and significant complexity in enterprise settings.

• Proficient in formulating and articulating comprehensive technical strategies for assigned accounts, encompassing transformation planning and guidance for adoption.

• Familiarity with the GitLab platform and understanding of how DevSecOps capabilities integrate throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

• Experience in leading workshops and facilitating customer discussions that identify needs, clarify value, and advance complex engagements.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, product, and other teams to address integration inquiries and support overall account strategies.

• Expertise in competitive positioning, market insights, and translating industry trends into actionable opportunity strategies.

• Strong mentoring skills, with a focus on sharing knowledge asynchronously and contributing to documentation and team development.

• Willingness to consider candidates with relevant experience in technical consulting, architecture, platform engineering, or similar customer-facing positions.
