Solution Architect – OpenStack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Integration and Validation of NFV/CLOUD OpenStack solutions within IT/Telco Core networks.

• Develop and create necessary capabilities to support solution designs.

• Play a vital role in establishing and maintaining client relationships while facilitating the implementation of NFV/ Cloud RHOSP/OpenStack solutions throughout the relevant departments of the organization.

• Engage in PoC projects alongside the Cloud PDU in emerging fields such as 5G, IoT, Edge NFVI, and Distributed Cloud, functioning as a member of the Integration and Verification team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of overall experience with at least 4 years of hands-on experience with RHOSP – Red Hat OpenStack platform.

• Strong comprehension of cloud architectures, virtualization, and implementation technologies.

• Significant hands-on deployment experience with external storage solutions such as Nexenta, CEPH, or ScaleIO is a plus.

• Experience in deploying, maintaining, and supporting Linux Server infrastructures and storage systems within an enterprise setting.

• Proven experience in writing test cases, understanding requirements, and executing tests.

• Background in system installation, integration, and verification with strong investigative and troubleshooting skills.

• Technical Certification in Red Hat Linux is essential.

• Proficiency in Python, Ansible, or Shell scripting is desirable; knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is required.

• Strong interpersonal skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in both written and spoken English.

• Task-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable to working in cross-functional teams.

• Willingness to travel as business needs arise is essential.

• Experience in OpenStack/Containerized Design (HLD/LLD) is required for SA positions.
