Solution Architect – Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Senior Architects, colleagues, and junior team members to define and implement the IT strategy and vision aligned with business objectives.

• Create, document, and contribute to the Empower technology roadmap, integration roadmap, architectural standards, and reusable solution patterns.

• Establish integration architecture patterns for APIs, events, messaging, batch/file exchanges, streaming, ETL/ELT, SaaS integration, and partner integrations.

• Develop and maintain reference architectures.

• Design and modernize intricate systems into cloud-compatible or cloud-native applications where appropriate, including strategies for migrating legacy applications and integrations to cloud environments.

• Oversee solution design for secure, scalable, and reusable integration services that minimize point-to-point complexity and promote enterprise reuse.

• Engage in the assessment of new applications and technical options, challenge existing norms, create robust business cases, and influence direction while building relationships with key stakeholders.

• Implement best practices, standards, and guidance, and subsequently mentor technology team members.

• Offer leadership recommendations concerning strategic architectural considerations related to process design and orchestration.

• Provide strong leadership and direction in development and engineering practices.

• Collaborate with various business and technology teams on architecture and design challenges.

• Adapt to evolving security conditions.

• Set forth and recommend security guidelines.

• Offer thought leadership, advocacy, articulation, assurance, and upkeep of the enterprise architecture discipline.

• Provide solutions, guidance, and implementation support within full-stack development teams.

• Suggest long-term scalable and efficient architecture modifications while maintaining cost control.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience.

• Over 10 years of experience in architecting Enterprise Solutions, Data Integration, and emerging technologies.

• Extensive experience with enterprise integration patterns, API-led integration, event-driven architecture, messaging, file/batch exchanges, streaming, and data integration.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining technical designs, risks, options, and trade-offs to executives, engineers, business stakeholders, clients, and vendors.

• Self-motivated individual who excels in a team-oriented environment.

• Proven track record of continuous learning and the ability to pragmatically evaluate new technologies.

• Strong development skills, including the ability to write complex code and perform tuning.

• Proficient in creating clear solution architecture documents, integration diagrams, interface specifications, API and event contracts, and architecture decision records.

• Basic understanding of data science principles and associated data needs.

• Experience in the Financial Services industry.

• Strong awareness of development practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, containerized applications, and secure agile delivery methodologies.

• Experience in Java, Pro-C, Python, and JavaScript/Typescript programming.
