Solidity Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Create, implement, and evaluate Solidity smart contracts focused on data tokenization, licensing, and pricing processes.

• Build resilient on-chain data structures that accurately represent enterprise datasets, associated metadata, and access conditions.

• Design marketplace and exchange components, including order books, escrow services, dispute resolution, and royalty mechanisms.

• Incorporate pricing strategies based on financial derivatives such as options pricing, bonding curves, and auction models.

• Enhance gas efficiency and ensure contract upgradability when necessary through the use of proxies or modular contracts.

• Collaborate with auditing teams and internal security experts to strengthen contracts against potential vulnerabilities.

• Engage in cross-functional work with product and protocol teams to outline new features and operational mechanisms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in Solidity development with a solid portfolio of deployed smart contracts.

• Demonstrated knowledge of EVM architecture, smart contract security, and gas optimization techniques.

• Experience in building or contributing to Web3 exchanges, NFT marketplaces, or DeFi protocols.

• Extensive understanding of data modeling, intricate storage patterns, and Solidity-specific design paradigms.

• Familiarity with token standards including ERC20, ERC721, ERC1155, and ERC4626, as well as upgradeable contract frameworks.

• Exposure to various pricing mechanisms, such as dynamic pricing curves, auctions, or option-like instruments.

• Skilled in development tools like Hardhat, Foundry, Tenderly, etc., and testing frameworks such as Chai and Waffle.

• Proficient with Git-based workflows and agile engineering methodologies.
