Smart Contract Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and evaluate secure and efficient smart contracts utilizing Solidity.

• Apply best practices for smart contract security, which includes unit testing, code reviews, and vulnerability assessments.

• Automate the deployment, testing, and ongoing maintenance of smart contracts.

• Keep abreast of the latest developments in blockchain technology, Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) concepts, and layer 2 scaling solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• In-depth knowledge of blockchain technology and consensus mechanisms.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering secure and thoroughly tested smart contracts on Ethereum or compatible blockchains.

• Expert-level proficiency in Solidity language features, best practices, and security considerations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a passion for innovation and creating impactful decentralized applications.

• Advanced degree in a technical field (Bonus Points).

• Familiarity with formal verification tools for smart contracts (Bonus Points).

• Experience with layer 2 scaling solutions (i.e., Optimism, Polygon) (Bonus Points).

• Contributions to open-source smart contract libraries or frameworks (Bonus Points).

• Solid understanding of web3 development tools and frameworks (Bonus Points).
