This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• In the role of Senior Smart Contracts Engineer, you will be instrumental in establishing the smart contract framework for our Web3 Open Cloud Platform.
• You will work closely with tokenomics specialists, engineers, and stakeholders to lead the design and development of secure, efficient, and innovative smart contracts that enhance the functionality of our platform and improve user experience.
• Your expertise will significantly shape the strategic direction of our architecture, aligning with our mission to create a robust and scalable ecosystem.
• Design and implement resilient and scalable smart contract architectures that fulfill project specifications and requirements.
• Develop secure and efficient smart contracts using Solidity.
• Regularly utilize static analysis tools to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
• Implement performance optimization techniques derived from static analysis and industry best practices.
• Create comprehensive automated testing suites to ensure reliability and performance.
• Perform thorough internal security audits and collaborate with external security partners to protect smart contract code.
• Deploy smart contracts in both Testnet and Mainnet environments.
• Provide continuous support and updates for deployed contracts as necessary.
• Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure seamless integration of smart contracts within larger application ecosystems.
• Consistently adhere to best practices in security, efficiency, and compliance throughout all development and deployment processes.
• A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in software development, preferably within the fintech, DeFi, crypto/blockchain, or financial services sectors.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical discipline.
• A comprehensive understanding of blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, and cryptographic principles.
• Extensive experience with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and its unique execution model.
• Strong proficiency in the Solidity programming language, including secure coding practices and optimization methodologies.
• Solid knowledge of common smart contract vulnerabilities, security best practices, and strategies for risk mitigation in blockchain applications.
• A strong grasp of development principles, encompassing design patterns, testing, version control, and CI/CD processes.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proactive stance in addressing technical challenges.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, with a capacity to collaborate effectively in a remote-first, cross-functional team environment.
