Solar Civil Assistant Superintendent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the project management team to plan, schedule, organize, and oversee solar construction projects.

• Support the Superintendent in conveying expectations and guidance to subcontractors and staff regarding schedules, construction methods, company policies and procedures, permits, safety, quality control, and performance standards.

• Develop work schedules and formulate plans to ensure adherence to the project timeline.

• Monitor the quality of work executed and compliance with the budget in designated project areas.

• Work together with the Superintendent to guarantee the security of the project site and company assets.

• Oversee contracts, subcontract documentation, drawings, and local regulations.

• Foster a safe working environment through the implementation of safety and quality control programs.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent in solar construction projects.

• Outstanding leadership and management capabilities.

• Strong initiative and effective problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) are a plus.

• Proficiency in computer applications.

• Capability to engage in frequent physical activity in both indoor and outdoor settings.

• Proficient in standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching with hands and arms.

• Ability to lift and transport materials weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally manage heavier loads with assistance.

• Comfortable working near moving mechanical components, in elevated areas, with high noise levels, and under extreme temperatures.
