Soil Sampling Technician – Seasonal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Execute sample collection tasks accurately in line with approved standard operating procedures (SOP) and quality control standards.

• Gather sufficient sample volumes at specified GPS coordinates.

• Keep detailed records of field data and samples obtained.

• Organize the transportation of samples to the laboratory.

• Conduct preventative and daily maintenance on assigned equipment.

• Inform management of any equipment service requirements.

• Foster positive working relationships with growers, clients, dealers, and other relevant agribusiness representatives.

• Act as a liaison between growers or clients and management when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED is preferred.

• Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated organizational and time management abilities.

• Detail-oriented approach.

• Basic proficiency in computer skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Flexible scheduling and willingness to work overtime as required by workflow and deadlines.

• Valid driver’s license is essential.

• Capacity to work in varying temperatures (40 - 90°F) and under both wet and dry conditions.

• Openness to personal and professional growth and development.

• Must reside in Wisconsin.

• Willingness to travel to various locations in Northeast/North Central Wisconsin.
