This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Be part of a dedicated team of quality assurance engineers focused on QA processes, tools, execution, and software delivery.

• Assist in the creation of comprehensive software analysis and design documents to establish software acceptance criteria.

• Contribute to the software product or system to identify test requirements, develop test strategies, and conduct assessments.

• Utilize analysis concepts, techniques, tools, and standards to decompose assigned projects into testable components with clear acceptance criteria.

• Develop detailed test plans, test cases, reports, and release notes as needed by the role.

• Execute software installations and conduct system testing.

• Test and validate system and database models to ensure quality and compliance.

• Engage in ongoing refinement and improvement processes.

• Implement software testing procedures and best practices.

• Successfully undergo enhanced criminal and background checks as per client requirements to obtain clearance.

• Complete annual security training and comply with TECH5 USA’s security policies and procedures; report any suspicious emails or activities to IT.

• Carry out additional job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• At least 3 years of relevant hands-on experience with software testing methodologies in the technology or software sector.

• Must possess experience in configuring and testing on Web, Mobile, Windows desktop, and Active Directory/Azure Active Directory.

• Comfortable with white box/unit testing and automated testing using tools such as Selenium and Playwright.

• Familiarity with bug-tracking systems and generating bug reports.

• Understand the application of Agile methodologies in a development context.

• Preferred: experience working in a Law & Enforcement setting testing applications like JMS/RMS/Enrollment, with strong knowledge of biometric products and components, such as fingerprint scanners and facial recognition systems.
