Software Engineer – Web SDK

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Develop and deliver new features.

• Take full ownership of features from inception to completion: identify the issue, create a straightforward solution, implement it (often with the aid of AI), test it, and enhance it based on user feedback.

• Enhance the performance, dependability, and developer usability of the Web SDK and its associated services.

• Troubleshoot complex issues across the SDK, backend, and browser environments.

• Address genuine customer challenges.

• Assist in optimizing the integration process to enable partners to achieve 'first story live' promptly and securely.

• Elevate the developer experience.

• Pursue engineering excellence.

• Ensure strong ownership and consistency from concept to deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of practical experience with TypeScript/JavaScript in production settings.

• Solid understanding of React, Node.js, or comparable modern frontend frameworks.

• Acquaintance with APIs/HTTP, performance optimization, and fundamentals of SQL/NoSQL.

• A proactive approach.

• An AI-native working style.

• Ability to reason clearly and evaluate trade-offs.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.

• Dependability.

• While prior experience building a Web SDK is not required, you should feel comfortable working on libraries and APIs that are essential for other developers.
