Software Engineer – Video

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Implement effective measurement and observability systems.

• Develop a video recording pipeline for Trust & Safety and user experience enhancement.

• Create initial tools for sellers to improve livestream interactions.

• Enhance our video features to ensure seamless user experiences.

• Shape the long-term video strategy, including success criteria and framework development.

• Drive innovation in seller tools to facilitate optimal streaming performance.

• Assess and onboard new video service providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• Proficiency in scaled WebRTC systems.

• Strong ability to convert product requirements into scalable systems, prioritizing user experience over technical solutions.

• Recognized for the high quality of engineering designs.

• Exceptional problem solver who operates independently without needing detailed instructions.

• Experience with AWS and DevOps practices.
