Software Engineer – Retail

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and provide support for existing customizations, as well as scope, design, and configure new features and functionalities within the retail systems environment.

• Assist stakeholders in promoting the adoption of best practices on Manhattan Active SCALE.

• Participate in configuration, design, and technical analysis initiatives related to the warehouse management system.

• Engage in Agile development methodologies by actively participating in sprint activities, scrum ceremonies, code reviews, and cross-training sessions.

• Keep documentation updated for customizations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.

• Assess escalated system issues and bugs from the Helpdesk team to identify if technical modifications are necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 3–5 years of demonstrated experience implementing Manhattan Active SCALE solutions in practical retail settings.

• At least 3-5 years of experience in configuring and/or customizing the Manhattan Active SCALE system.

• Proficient in SQL and familiar with a Microsoft environment (Report Builder & Azure Storage Explorer), as well as JavaScript, XML, and JSON.

• Experience in organizations compliant with SOX and PCI standards.

• Familiarity with Agile development practices (SCRUM, Kanban) and experience using Jira.
