Software Engineer – Reporting & Insights

📋 Description

• Develop, construct, and sustain features within our application that enhance reporting and insights functionalities.

• Produce clean, well-tested, and thoroughly documented code.

• Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and engineers to convert requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Engage in code reviews and assist in elevating engineering standards and development methodologies.

• Diagnose and resolve production issues to ensure platform reliability.

• Take part in architectural discussions and technical planning for upcoming features.

• Join on-call rotations and assist in responding to incidents impacting production systems.

• Acquaint yourself with our systems, processes, and codebase while contributing to planned roadmap features.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.

• Strong expertise in Python and experience in developing applications using the Django framework.

• Practical experience with a modern frontend framework, preferably Vue.js.

• Comprehensive understanding of relational databases, especially MySQL, and ORM patterns.

• Skilled in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.

• Willingness to take part in an on-call rotation and support production systems.

• Proactively utilize AI tools in daily tasks to enhance productivity and speed up delivery.

• Experience with analytical databases such as ClickHouse or Elasticsearch (Nice to Have).

• Background in working with data-intensive or high-traffic SaaS applications (Nice to Have).

• Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot (Nice to Have).

• Familiarity with data streaming platforms like Kafka (Nice to Have).

• Experience with task queues or background job systems such as Celery (Nice to Have).
