Software Engineer, QA Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional security products of the highest quality through agile engineering methodologies.

• Define, design, estimate, plan, and implement user stories.

• Write high-quality, thoroughly tested code.

• Develop and integrate modifications across multiple projects to provide comprehensive solutions.

• Utilize technical and customer service expertise to resolve client issues.

• Systematically diagnose production problems and provide timely resolutions.

• Continuously enhance personal, team, and organizational performance, along with the technology and processes used to deliver and support customer-facing products.

• Design, construct, and maintain automated testing frameworks using programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.

• Operate within DevOps environments to incorporate automated testing suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., using Jenkins or GitLab).

• Identify, document, isolate, and track bugs using issue-tracking software like Jira.

• Collaborate with core development and product teams to establish acceptance criteria, mitigate defects early in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and guarantee extensive test coverage.

• Design and conduct load and stress tests to ensure applications perform well under high traffic conditions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Equivalent practical experience may be accepted in place of a degree.

• Over 5 years of direct software development experience.

• Strong proficiency in C#.

• Experience with .NET Core and ASP .NET Core.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes.

• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure preferred; other platforms accepted).

• Proven track record of successfully collaborating with distributed teams.

• Experience with incremental feature delivery as part of a Software Development Life Cycle.

• Worked effectively with teams employing a variety of delivery methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, XP, LeSS, SAFe, etc.).

• Proficiency with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JUnit, or Pytest.

• Strong understanding of both relational and non-relational databases, API testing, and version control systems (Git).
