Software Engineer – Production Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Investigate escalations involving frontend (JavaScript), APIs, and data flows.

• Reproduce problems and determine their root causes.

• Collaborate across the stack to comprehend system behavior.

• Write and deploy small-to-medium fixes (PRs).

• Enhance reliability and minimize recurring issues.

• Contribute to incremental product enhancements.

• Serve as the technical escalation point for support staff.

• Provide clear direction and swiftly resolve issues.

• Assist in refining debugging workflows and internal documentation.

• Convert structured customer feedback into actionable technical tasks.

• Offer T-shirt sizing (S / M / L) from an engineering viewpoint.

• Identify small, impactful fixes that can be delivered rapidly.

• Help finalize the resolution of issues.

• Recognize and eliminate recurring problems.

• Enhance logging, observability, and debugging processes.

• Develop lightweight tools or scripts to boost efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Software Engineering, Developer Support / DevEx, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Product Support, preferably for a B2B SaaS platform.

• Knowledge of modern web technologies such as TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python, and GraphQL.

• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), including understanding data models, writing/debugging SQL queries, and investigating data inconsistencies.

• Proficient in reading and navigating production codebases.

• Experience debugging across various domains: browser dev tools, APIs and network requests, frontend UI/state issues, and backend data flows and database interactions.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt terminology for technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proven experience in shipping code (PRs, fixes, and small features).
