This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

• Engage in a complete life-cycle software engineering project environment.
• Perform comprehensive code reviews, execute unit and integration tests, and maintain high standards of code quality.
• Introduce innovative ideas, tools, services, and methodologies to the team.
• Utilize analytical reasoning to make informed decisions based on data and metrics whenever feasible.
• Show readiness to take initiative and lead projects at, or slightly above, your current level.
• Create and adhere to ICF coding standards.
• Exhibit a strong willingness to learn and embrace new challenges within and beyond the team.
• Promote asynchronous communication strategies and excel in a remote work setting.
• Expected to take ownership of smaller projects and segments of larger initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in full stack software engineering, with a solid grasp of best practices, design patterns, clean coding, and unit/integration testing.
• At least 2 years of experience in .NET development, specifically in creating REST APIs.
• Over 2 years of experience in frontend development using frameworks such as Angular or React (React is preferred).
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working with REST APIs.
• At least 1 year of experience in writing and debugging SQL queries, as well as building applications that interact with relational databases like SQL Server.
• Over 1 year of experience with Entity Framework or comparable ORM technologies.
• At least 1 year of experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.), as this position is associated with a federal contract, and applicable laws apply.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) due to federal contract requirements.
