Software Engineer – Neki Orchestration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• You will create and develop the control plane responsible for provisioning, scaling, and repairing Neki clusters with minimal visible downtime for customers.

• You will establish and uphold high availability, disaster recovery, and data protection solutions that ensure the safety of customer databases during infrastructure failures.

• You will develop tools and automation for database operations, including backup, restore, and migration workflows, and participate in an on-call rotation.

• You will engage directly with customers to comprehend their workloads and translate tangible needs into enhancements for the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of software engineering experience in designing, building, and supporting large-scale systems in production environments.

• Strong expertise in Go, along with familiarity in other programming languages such as Ruby and Python.

• Experience in constructing and maintaining distributed, fault-tolerant services.

• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes and applications deployed in containers.

• Background in building and managing distributed systems at scale.
