Software Engineer, Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of our Kubernetes operator: the control plane responsible for provisioning, configuring, and managing Rerun Hub deployments.

• Facilitate comprehensive customer onboarding to address new infrastructure needs.

• Ensure production reliability and scalability through observability, CI/CD, incident response, and deployment experiences.

• Participate in a follow-the-sun on-call rotation with the rest of the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A solid foundation in software engineering.

• Extensive experience with Kubernetes, particularly with the operator pattern.

• Proficiency in Go and the capability to read and contribute to an asynchronous Rust codebase.

• Strong background with AWS and infrastructure-as-code, ideally using Terraform/OpenTofu.

• Comfortable working closely with customers.

• Excellent communication skills in English, a sense of ownership, and a curious, helpful demeanor.

• Experience with high-throughput, time-series, or analytical database systems (Bonus).

• Background in data-intensive infrastructure (Bonus).
