Software Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +43 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and deploy production software for a dynamic chatbot platform encompassing intake, orchestration, retrieval, answer generation, caching, and platform integrations.

• Deliver clean and efficient code in line with sprint commitments while adhering to coding standards and best practices.

• Actively engage in discussions, coding, and testing, consistently offering feedback and contributing significantly.

• Collaborate effectively with Product, Tech Leads, Architects, and partner teams to align on design strategy, trade-offs, and delivery methods.

• Provide thorough feedback on merge requests, focusing on business requirements, correctness, security, performance, maintainability, and implementation risks.

• Communicate clearly with colleagues and customers to ensure optimal outcomes for both the team and clients by actively listening, incorporating diverse perspectives, conducting direct testing, and considering the overall design impact.

• Mentor and offer technical direction to junior engineers.

• Engage in creative thinking and propose innovative solutions that enhance our business by delighting our clients. May perform other assigned duties.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 8 years of experience in Large Scale Enterprise Development.

• Extensive proficiency in Python, JAVA, SQL, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, backend service development, APIs, and frameworks such as FastAPI.

• Familiarity with LINUX, Eclipse IDE, GIT, JIRA, Agile Development Methodology, and XSL is advantageous.

• Experience with OpenAI or other LLM APIs, prompt design, tool orchestration, response evaluation, retrieval, search, or reranking.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Any experience in the following areas is beneficial:

• AWS and AWS Lambda.

• User interface development.

• Mobile development utilizing HTML5 or Swift.

• Bootstrap, JQuery, or React Native.

• Billing and Payroll.

• Data import/export, SSO, or large-scale EDI.
